I enjoyed my stay at Prana Hotel partly due to its great location near Angkor Wat. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, making my experience pleasant. However, there were issues with the AC and some room amenities that detracted from my overall comfort. Overall, it was a decent stay but could benefit from some improvements. 🌴😌

Rooms
6.0
The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed, but the AC was terrible and very hard to control during the night.
Service
8.0
The staff were exceptionally nice and helped organize a private tour and airport transfer, which made my travels hassle-free.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a quiet area, just a short tuk-tuk ride away from the bustling city center, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
Dining
6.0
While I appreciated the good coffee, the dining options were a bit average and could use more variety, especially at breakfast.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was a nice escape after a long day, but the lack of room service and inconsistent amenities, like towels and light switches, were concerning.

7.0/10

I had a pleasant stay at Prana Hotel, which struck a nice balance between comfort and a local atmosphere. The spacious rooms and beautiful pool were definitely highlights, though the condition of the facilities fell short of a 4-star rating. I appreciated the friendly staff and great breakfast options, but the noisy construction nearby was a bit distracting.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and had a comfy bed. My suite had a lovely terrace that overlooked the pool. However, the walls were quite dirty and the ceiling paint was peeling. It could have used a fresh coat to really enhance the space.
Service
8.0
The staff were very kind and helpful, organizing things like bicycle hire and massage services. Although, not everyone was fluent in English, which made some inquiries a bit tricky.
Location
8.0
Located right in the busy center of Siem Reap, it was easy to head out for outdoor dining or to explore the Angkor temples. However, the surrounding construction made it a bit noisy during my stay.
Dining
9.0
The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options including delicious smoked salmon bagels. I loved starting my day with it, but having more variety could really elevate it further.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool were beautiful and great for relaxing after a day of exploration. However, I noticed that some amenities could have been better maintained, like the noisy air conditioning in my room.

7.0/10

My stay at Prana Hotel was truly wonderful, with spacious and beautifully designed rooms that provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight was the fantastic pool, perfect for unwinding. However, I found that the dining options could use some improvement, as a few meals were not prepared well. Overall, I would happily return for another visit.

Rooms
10.0
The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was extremely clean and had high-quality furniture. I loved the spaciousness and the beautiful design.
Service
10.0
The staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond, even delivering coffees and lunches to the poolside, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Location
10.0
Though slightly outside the city center, Prana Hotel's location was perfect for a peaceful stay. It was a quick $2 tuk-tuk ride to the vibrant Pub Street, which I appreciated.
Dining
7.0
While the breakfast options were nice, I encountered some issues with dinner meals at the hotel, as some dishes weren’t available or poorly cooked.
Facilities
10.0
The amenities were excellent, including the beautiful pool and the option to borrow bikes for exploring Angkor and the city.

6.0/10

I recently stayed at Prana Hotel and while the pool was absolutely amazing, I faced several disappointments that impacted my overall experience. The location, although peaceful, is quite a distance from the city center, making transportation necessary for dining out. Additionally, I encountered issues with room cleanliness and facilities that didn't meet my expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The suite with terrace I stayed in was impressively spacious, yet had numerous issues. The natural light was wonderful, but the broken curtains and musty smell from the bathroom were quite unpleasant. Moreover, the lack of soundproofing frequently disrupted my peace.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were friendly, my initial experience with cleaning was frustrating. I had to express my concerns before it got addressed, which felt unsatisfactory for the price I was paying.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located a bit out of the way, around 3 km from the bustling center of Siem Reap, which made accessing dining options on foot challenging. Although tuk tuks were available for a reasonable price, it was inconvenient.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite basic and didn't meet my expectations. An omelette and toast felt insufficient, especially given the hotel’s pricing strategy.
Facilities
7.0
The pool was a highlight, being open 24/7 and a great escape after long days exploring temples. However, the internet connection in the rooms was painfully slow at times.

My stay at Prana Hotel was a good experience overall, marked by its tranquil atmosphere and lovely amenities. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, offering a great escape after busy days of sightseeing. However, I did encounter a few hiccups with the fridge and air conditioning that needed attention.

Rooms
10.0
The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was fantastic, featuring a comfortable bed and plenty of space. I particularly enjoyed the balcony, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They assisted with organizing my visits around the city and even brought refreshments to the poolside.
Location
10.0
Prana Hotel is perfectly situated, just a short tuk-tuk ride to the city center and the Angkor Temples. It struck a nice balance between being close enough to attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had its ups and downs; while the selection was interesting, the western options were quite meat-heavy, and the French offerings felt a bit lacking. A combination of the two styles would be ideal.
Facilities
6.0
The swimming pool was a great feature to cool off, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. However, I faced issues with the fridge not functioning properly when I was out, leaving my food spoiled.
